Re: New DMR Documentation Requirements
In an attempt to streamline the verification process and enhance service delivery, the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) has issued a formal instruction that the following documentation is required for all DMR
verification requests:
- Certified ID
- Certified Copy of Certificate
- Consent Form
- Documents are required to be SAPS certified and not older than 3 months from the date of submission.
- Winding Engine Drivers certificates must be accompanied with either a Record of Service or Name and Contact Details of the Current Employer
For all the below qualifications issued before 1 January 1994, a Record of Service or Name and Contact Details of the Current Employer must be supplied:
- Mine Managers
- Mine Oversees
- Mine Surveyors
- Electrical Engineers
- Mechanical Engineers
